Free EEO Offering (Not Common)
Instructions
Determine if the course you are setting up is part of an initiative (I.e. more than one course where you are going to want to run reports together). If the course you are setting up is not part of an initiative, skip to Using Airtable to Find Scheduled EEOs
This setup allows the Initiative Report(s) to work as it associates the free offers on a few courses together. In that way, you can pick which initiative or which client you want to run reports for in those reports.
Login into CE Admin and go to Retail Admin > Initiative.
Create the new Initiative by clicking on the Add Initiative button.
Give it a name and put in a start and end date for the full initiative.
The dates don’t seem to affect anything, so if you are off a little, it’s ok.
Save Changes.
Go to Retail Admin > Sponsors.
If the client has done an Initiative before, you can skip down to #8.
Enter the client name for the initiative by clicking on Add a Sponsor button
Enter the client name in the Sponsor Name field and create a user name and password. I am almost sure the username and password are used for nothing, so it really doesn’t matter what you enter. Ignore the Attach Survey box.
Go to back to Retail Admin > Initiative and find the initiative you just created in the list and click on View/Edit link
Click on Add/Remove Related Sponsor to associate the sponsor with the initiative.
When you create the discount, pick the name of the initiative you just created in the Initiatives drop down for each course that is part of the initiative. That will associate the courses with the initiative.
If you were to go back to the initiative list and pick the one you created, you would be able to see all of this:
