DM Checklist for Product

Checklist of important tasks that need to be completed before Go-To-Market: 

  • Google Analytics conversions are created in GA4, if a new action needs to be tracked 

  • Google Analytics tag is on all pages of the site 

  • Google Tag Manager is on all pages of the site 

  • Mapped out URL structure is followed 

  • URL is indexed (if it’s supposed to be – ie not parameterized URL) 

  • URL added to XML Sitemap 

  • Metadata added and optimized 

  • HTML follows SEO best practices - (one H1 tag, and multiple H2s, H3s, etc.) - and is valid markup. 

  • Structured data/schema added where appropriate and validated 

  • 301 redirects in place for pages that have moved / are being replaced at new URLs 

  • OG tags set up for social sharing 

  • Canonical tagging set up 

  • Internal linking set up

  • QA/staging site that is fully functional of new product should be given to Digital Marketing several weeks in advance with time for us to review, provide feedback, and with the understanding that product is going to fix issues we found before launching  

  • UX for web pages is optimal for user experience and significant features for users are working.
