Accessing the Campaign Calendars

The Growth campaign calendars are now available in Jira’s Marketing Hub. There are three calendars, one for each vertical: ACU, BCH, and PAC. The vertical calendars will automatically sync both prospect and customer campaigns that have the required information filled out on the ticket. See Syncing Growth Campaigns to the Calendar for more details.

The calendar will only show campaigns that have an associated Jira ticket. The calendar will NOT show planned activities that have not been submitted through the Campaign Form.

To view the calendars, go to the Marketing Hub, then click on ‘Apps', then ‘Company Calendar’.

When you click on ‘Company Calendar’, you’ll see the following screen.

In the toolbar, you can select the calendar you want to view.

If you select, Marketing_BCH_Calendar_Shared, the BCH campaign calendar will display.

When you click into one of the activities, you’ll see more campaign details. For example: On the activity shown below, you’ll see:

  • Where the activity lives and it's issue number: MKHUB-1539

  • Name of activity: [REL] CM_EM Insights and Innovations '24

  • Description: Final Copy…

  • When this activity happens (due date): 9/16/2024

  • Who owns this activity (reporter): Joshua Dutton-Reaver

  • If the activity is B2B/B2C and/or part of a GTM (campaign ID): B2B, GRC, SGT

  • The campaign audience: Customers

  • Vertical: REL

    • When REL is selected, the activity will show up on all three vertical calendars.

  • Sub-vertical: n/a

Jira users can click into the issue to get more details. Non-Jira users will only see the data presented above. This may influence what you write in the description to help non-marketing stakeholders leverage your campaigns, activities, etc.

Syncing Growth Campaigns & Activities to the Calendar

In order for Demand Generation / Customer Marketing / Partner Marketing campaigns and activities to sync to the calendar, the following fields need to be populated on the various epics, issues, etc.:

Missing one of the fields below will prevent your campaigns and activities from syncing to the calendar. Please review your campaign tickets and details to ensure all information is accurate and populated.

Required Fields:

  • Due date: This is the date the campaign activity is live.

  • Brand: Brand needs to equal Relias.

    • If Brand is empty or another Relias property, the campaign activity will not sync to the calendar.

  • Audience: Prospects, Customers, Partners, or combination of the three.

  • Audience Type: Audience Type needs to equal B2B.

    • If Audience Type is empty or B2C, the campaign activity will not sync to the calendar.

  • Vertical: ACU, BCH, PAC, or REL.

    • If REL is chosen, the campaign activity will populate all three vertical calendars.

Note: These fields are also required by your marketing counterparts to ensure they create and/or execute the activities correctly.

Updating Information on the Campaign Calendar

If you want to update a record on the calendar, you have to update the associated Jira ticket.

For example:

  • If you want to move an email send to another date, you’ll need to open the associated ticket and change the due date on the ticket.

  • If you want to update the Vertical, you’ll need to open the ticket and adjust the vertical selection.

If you want to add additional emails or activities, you’ll need to submit tickets through the approved process, ensure the tickets have the required calendar
