Before Migration Tasks:
- Diana and Janene - UAT Testing complete and no errors found
- Mark Earl - ensure DNS TTL in 5-10 min range
- Mark Earl - verify that new website can accept traffic on www.wcei.net
- Scott - Deploy Maintenance page to website at MS-Azure before migration begins.
- Scott W. - verify if new files have been uploaded to expedient since migration started.
Procedure:
- Mark Earl Cut DNS. Point to Azure
- Scott W. - Apply Maintenance Page at Expedient & take backup of DB
- Scott W. - Transfer DB to Azure
- Gregory Putnam - Restore Database from Backup
- Scott W. - Restore website in Azure, remove maintenance page with code deploy
