In Kentico, there are 2 locations where Alt text can be updated. For an image to be successfully updated with alt text, these fields need to match:

  • Alternate Text

  • Tooltip

 

How to update alt text → Page Editor

  • Once in the page editor, click the image you want to update the alt text for.

  • Click the film strip icon

    “InsertImageOrMedia.png “

  • Under “General”, add your alt text

  • Then navigate to the “Advanced” tab & and the same alt text

  • Save the page, then Publish your changes
