Landing Page Building Guide
Keyword Redirects:
can set up keyword redirects for search queries in our internal search function to point users to a specific landing or product page.
this can be helpful in improving the search functionality and pointing users to the appropriate page.
Landing Page Building
All landing pages live under “Store US”
Copy a landing page that matches the style you want to have
Naming the page
When you get into the landing page designer, you will need to define the page path beside where you see “storeSiteUS”. Make sure to use a keyword-targeted URI that has your primary target keyword in it. i.e. “teepa-snow-courses”.
Note: If you are optimizing an existing landing page and need to update the URL slug, ensure that you put in a 301 redirect (Cloudflare as of 2023) from the old URL to the new path once you’ve pushed it live. Also, stay in touch with the engineering team, as they are updated with any changes to the site.
HeaderContent →
Header Title: Here you’ll define your H1 of the page, where you’ll target your primary keyword. This should be close, if not identical to the page path.
Sub-header Title: Here you will define a short summary of the courses and include secondary target keywords.
Banner Background Style: this will default to the standard-gradient.
MainContent → Landing Page image and text
Media URL: URL controls the image that displays behind the H1 and subheading
Media Image Alt Text: Fill out to describe the context of the image (i.e. “Woman holding stethoscope” )
Featured Products
Rule of thumb:
Course codes starting with “c” - individual course product
Course codes starting with “p” - package course product
To feature either a course package or product, you’ll want to copy the course URL key from the productDetail page. This is after the “productId=” section.
Course code example: c1240079
You’ll copy this into the “Featured Product #” section.
HTML Content Render:
Update this section with the appropriate content for your landing page and link over to the browse page for all of the available courses for your topic. I.e an RBT landing page would link over to all RBT courses on the browse page. When you duplicate a landing page, this HTML content will be copied over, which will need to be updated.

Meta & Breadcrumbs:
Title: Meta title, “| Relias Academy” will not be added at the end since these are Endeca pages
Description: Meta Description
Breadcrumbs: This will override the default breadcrumb path (“Landing Page”). It is best to use the H1 of the page or just the target keyword here (i.e. “Teepa Snow” or “Teepa Snow Courses”)
Adding images:
MainContent → Add → Landing Page image and text
Images have to be properly constrained, so it is best to copy an existing image address on the site or reach out to engineering/design to get an updated photo.
Publishing:
Name your project
Beside Experience Manager, will be called “untitled work” by default
Publish the project.
Navigate to EAC Admin Console → Scripts → PromoteAuthoringToLive → Start
Make sure “Update Status Automatically” is selected for automatic updates
QA the new page to check for any breaks in HTML, content, or SEO content
