After clicking to find a job from the main page https://stage-www.nurse.com/# it takes us to the jobs board https://stage-www.nurse.com/jobs/ where header menu shows jobs and when clicking to the jobs page is refreshing the way if the user would not be loggined and shows basic notification like "we couldn't find match what you searching for"

 

For business prospective it’s good to have this solution look like at linkedin- while refreshing page instead showing the user the message about something is not possible to do → logo which shows the loading like here:

Job search does not work for certain users once logged in (SUP-998 was created yesterday)

Log in as jackie.rau@relias.com in staging then refresh the page and you will be unable to get job results to show. See attached video for an example.

 

No matter who you’re logged in as, you should be able to access job search.

When opening a session with an expired access token, the user should be logged out as soon as possible and reflect it in the header.

Log in and leave the tab open for a while (or go into dev tools and manually delete/modify the access cookie). The page may have to be refreshed once or twice before logged out state is shown.

In QA: log in as nurse. Delete the user token as a cookie using dev tools. clicking on the header, the user’s name is still present. Try opening a profile page, the page still opens with undefined fields even when the user shouldn’t be logged in.

User is logged out and asked to log in or redirected without a need for page reload.

From @Brianna Collins this could be a token issue. Please make sure all of your other tabs are closed and you are not signed in on a tab as another user.

@Sayan Dutta (Deactivated) : the issue is the website doesn’t handle the experience as well as it could when there is an issue with the token. Ideally after leaving a tab open for a while you should be automatically be logged out when you try something without having to refresh.

I chatted with @Sayan Dutta (Deactivated) about this, and my understanding is that we can’t use relative paths in Twig templates.

We need an absolute link to a new profile image.

  • ZO: We can access baseUrl in twig, not sure how to get the image into an “accessible” place for the templates

If you click on Employer from the home page, you are correctly brought to advertise.nurse.com. It looks like when you click Employers from the dashboard is where that’s still referencing Mediakit.

The “footer” AC in PAP-8032 should be referencing that new URL but its not - this is being actively worked on. I spoke to San & Janaky earlier, and there are a few tickets related to this. I have a reminder to check in on this in the morning and can add this to make sure it’s also updated.

Order history from Magento shows up under the account with the same email address (Jobs email = Magento email). However, after clicking on the “Order Details” button, the page does not render anything. The name of the user between the two sites is also different.

 

This might be just a Magento issue or it is related to migration.

Use the following account to recreate. The same email was used in the old submarine app.

The number of search results at the state level to be greater than or equal the number of search results at the city level for the same state.

Cannot type in “Description” field of Work Experience page

Ambiguous error for future end date in work experience

Start the apply process. On the Work Experience input, set the “End Date” to some time in the future. Note the resulting error does not specify that end dates cannot be in the future:

”Something doesn't look good with the dates”

“Please make sure start date is an earlier date than the end date and both dates are valid.”

There are also some grammatical issues.

The error message should specify why the input is not valid. For example:

“Invalid end date entered”

“Please choose an end date on or before this month”

Login information disappears when switching between portrait and landscape on mobile

Navigate to https://qa-www.nurse.com/jobs using a Samsung Galaxy S20 ultra (this can be done using responsive view in dev tools) in landscape orientation. Tap “Apply now”. Enter a username and password. Rotate the phone so that it is in portrait orientation to reveal the login button. The username and password entered disappear.

Note that the same issue occurs on the sign-up modal.

The username and password should persist when switching from landscape to portrait or portrait to landscape.

Navigate to to https://qa-www.nurse.com/jobs using a mobile screen size. Log out if necessary. Click the filter button then toggle “Show only Saved Jobs”. When the sign up form shows, click “Back to Jobs” without logging in”. Note that “Show only Saved Jobs” is toggled on even though there is no logged in user.

“Show only saved jobs” should toggle back off when the sign-up (or log in) action is cancelled. (This works on desktop).

Security, fraud, and impersonation: User can create an account with any email address, without verification

Navigate to https://stage-www.nurse.com/jobs/ and sign-up for a new account using an email address that is not yours (it can be fake or it can be someone else’s email). The account is created successfully and continues to work indefinitely.

The user should have to prove that they own the entered email address, probably within 24 hours, or have their account deleted.

After the resume parsing, the specialties are saved to the database, but the UI does not display them in the Skill section. This also causes the specialties that are migrated from submarine to not showing on the Super Nurse UI

  • upload a resume with some specialties that textkernel is able to parse, such as “Acute Care“, “Cardiothoracic“,

  • scroll down to the skill section.

  • specialties are not displayed in the skill section

Nurse profile Skill section should show specialties as well.

Internal Prod, no candidate is indexed into TK.

Only one record from 6 weeks ago in TK.

At least two nurse accounts are created and profile updated, then job applied.

Then check from TK for the total amount of records, only one is returned.

 

 

TK is currently down. We need to come back to this later and ensure it’s resolved

Attempting to sign up or log in when already logged in gives confusing error.

 

If signing up, the user is actually created on the first call, but an error is given. On the second call, the error that the email is already in use is shown.

If I try to log in to another account, I get “Account Improperly Linked.”

It should

  • give another error telling the user to log out

  • automatically log out the user before attempting to log in/sign up

  • prevent logged in users from opening these pages

Typo in Notification Field after Resume Upload

The word “information” is incorrectly spelled as “inforamation”

Create a new user, and then visit /jobs/profile

Upload a resume.

Check the confirmation text on top.

The word “information” towards the end of should be spelled correctly

Filter by Salary in internal prod

  • Jobs within salary range should show up. Radio button click on salary type changes the input box message

Go to job search → Filter by salary → Add a max and search

Salary range filter returns jobs with no salary, whereas wage range filter only returns jobs within the wage range.

Jobs with no salary should be returned or not returned consistently regardless of filter type.

When there’s only one job left and user “unsave” it, the left side does not disappear, but the right side does

  1. Manage saved jobs in “Jobs & Applications”

    1. Saved jobs are listed

    2. Click on heart on left side > job unsaved and disappear from list

    3. Click on heart on right side > job unsaved and disappear from list

 

Both sides should disappear on desktop.

Apply for an internal job when the user has no certificates or licenses.

There’s a green check mark on the application even when user doesn’t have licenses or certificates, but when user tries to submit there’s an error.

 

Should there be a check mark if the user’s application is not acceptable for submit?

Not a bug because user selected they do not have any relevant licenses or certs.
