FE Discrepancies per QA

This page should be used to call out any discrepancies between a Jira ticket and what’s in QA - mostly styling changes right now

  • PM has started removing specific styling aspects from tickets, therefore for the UI and the Figma links may not match

  • We need to track those changes so we can revisit these post-launch and make any updates as necessary

A similar page is https://relias.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/JBM/pages/3545268365

  • This page is to call out tickets that have been descoped, or specific pieces of functionality that have been descoped that need to take priority once the initial launch is complete

  • We need to track those changes so we can revisit these post-launch and make any updates as necessary

  1. Between Figma & QA for placeholder text:

  • Figma: Select specialty
    QA: Select a specialty

  • Figma: Select employment type
    QA: Select a type

  • Figma: Select state
    QA: Select a state

  1. Between Figma & QA for checkbox text

  • Figma: I do not have any relevant work experience.

  • QA: I do not have any relevant experience.

  1. Between Figma & QA for email and phone form field titles

  • Figma: Email Address*

  • QA: Email* [This is the preferred title version, as it matches other forms on the Nurse site.]

  • Figma: Phone Number*

  • QA: Phone Number* [Phone is the preferred title version, as it matches other forms on the Nurse site. It should NOT be a required field in the Nurse Stories form.]

  1. Periods need to be added to the end of all the form field validation messages, and the 2 checkbox statements.

  2. Consider removing the exposed URL from the first checkbox statement (https://www.relias.com/legal/privacy-policy) and making the text Relias Privacy Policy be a link instead.

  3. At the top of this Nurse Stories page on Android devices, the Header text Real Stories by Real Nurses is not centered.

  1. Between Figma & QA on the Jobs & Applications page > Saved tab.

    1. Figma: 5 Saved Jobs

    2. QA: 5 Results

  2. The Bell & magnifying glass icons are reversed in mobile view header for Figma & QA

Between Figma & QA > Upload Resume file display differs in MOBILE view:

  • Figma:

  • QA:

In QA mobile OR desktop view, there is never a time when the resumé filename displays as it’s shown in Figma.

The only time the resumé filename displays in QA, is right before you click the “Upload “ button.

Super Nurse homepage

A small bit of white is peeking through on the upper right and left corner of the Apply Now section.
This is especially noticeable in mobile view.
It’s a simple border-radius CSS adjustment, I think.

Employer Basic Information Editing Form

The Phone number placeholder text on https://super-qa.nurse.com/employer/edit/basic indicates that a phone number in this format will be allowed: xxx-xxx-xxxx.
However, the Phone number form field validation message says "Phone number should only include numbers and must be 10 digits".

I suggest updating the Phone number field’s placeholder text to show an example of the only accepted phone number format (xxxxxxxxxx, rather than xxx-xxx-xxxx.)

We may want to consider revising the language of the email address verification tooltips that display in desktop view on https://super-qa.nurse.com/employer/users/invite.

For example, when the email address is entered as bob@, the tooltip displays:
Please enter a part following ‘@'. 'bob@’ is incomplete.

When the email address is entered as @xx.com, the tooltip displays:
Please enter a part before ‘@'. '@xx.com’ is incomplete.

My suggestions would be:

  1. to use quotation marks (“), rather than apostrophes (')

  2. to make the phrasing a bit more professional, such as,

  • “bob@” is incomplete. Please include the domain portion following the “@”.

  • “@xx.com” is incomplete. Please include the username portion before the “@”.

Hamburger menu Log Out link text

This is MB again being a picky grammar nerd, but to present a professional image, we need to get it right.
The text indicating “Tap here to log out” should read “Log Out” rather than “Logout”.

Is it logout, log out, or log-out?

When spelled as one word, "logout" and "log-out" are a noun or adjective that describes the components required to sign out of an account. As two words, "log out" is a verb that describes the action of signing off from an account. For example, the sentence: "You need to log out with your logout information so no one else can read your e-mail." uses both forms of the word.

Page Title of the Jobs Search page in QA

We don't intend for the Page Title of the Jobs Search page in QA to be whatever the featured position is.
(In Prod currently, it's Browse Available Nursing Jobs | Nurse.com.)

On https://super-qa.nurse.com/employer/users the Role column’s inverted carat symbol (∨) sorts data by selected column in REVERSE alphabetical order. This is the opposite of all other columns, where the inverted carat symbol (∨) sorts data by selected column in alphabetical order.

Role column’s carat symbol (∧) sorts data by selected column in alphabetical order. This is the opposite of all other columns, where carat symbol (∧) sorts data by selected column in reverse alphabetical order.

The warning message displayed when user wants to delete their Profile resume is written out in title case, making it look like some weird news headline.
I suggest writing it in sentence case:
”Are you sure you want to delete the attached resumé?”

Update the spelling of Resume to Resumé, for continuity with rest of the page and with Step 1 of the /jobs/apply process.

For a logged-in nurse who has selected “I do not have any relevant licenses or certifications.” on https://qa-www.nurse.com/profile/edit/licenses-certifications
This will display on their profile page:

enter values for First Name and Last Name that contain a symbol (ex: TestAccount&)

RESULT:

No form field validation message displays

Currently we don’t allow names containing numbers, but names containing keyboard symbols are allowed.

Add form validation for non-alphabet symbols inFirst Name, Last Name

  1. Figma for Order History page displays a magnifying glass icon in the search box.
There’s no icon in QA on https://qa-www.nurse.com/jobs/profile/settings/order-history
